This is Buddha...

Maltese doggy number 2! This is Buddha! Like I said, I hated the thought of leaving Roxy at home all by herself during the day. My dad liked her so much, he wanted to buy another puppy.

THERE WAS ONE LEFT!!!! =)

Aparrently, the lady who was supposed to give hime a home backed out because he had a heart murmur. Well, too bad so sad for her because we enjoy having this little furball.

Buddha is VERY different from Roxy; much more barky, very playful, he used to bite, and he was a little bigger in size than she was. He was also supposed to be my little sister's dog but I took him from her =/.

When we went to pick him up, my brother didn't want to hold him because he had dingle berries (YUCK).

So I gave him a bath when we got home, wrapped him in a blanket and pretended he was Roxy. We gave him to my sister and she was scared because she thought Roxy grew. Little did she know, I had Roxy hiding in the bathroom. Speaking of Buddha, I miss the rascal right now!!!

Introducing....ROXY

Meet Roxy everyone! She is the Queen and the First Lady of the house. I've always liked dogs, but it wasn't until about 2007 that I started getting into little dogs. My boyfriend wanted to by me a small dog that I can take around with me but I really wanted a pitbull. I grew up around big dogs all my life so I had no interest in little dogs.
Just for fun, I started looking around and I really liked the white fluffy Maltese dogs. Only problem was they were way too expensive. I stopped looking and my cousin tells me that her coworker's dog just had puppies and she was selling them for a VERY GOOD price. To my surprise, the breed of the puppies were the ones I was looking into! I was back and forth on whether or not I was going to buy the dog or not. I knew I wanted a girl and I knew I wanted a puppy but I was unsure if I was going to be able to take care of her as much as I would have liked to. I wasn't sure if I had enough time, if I had the money to pay if and when she got sick, and I especially didn't want to leave her at home alone. So I decided that I wasn't going to get the puppy even though there was one on hold for me.
Somehow, she convinced me to go ahead and buy her anyway. I went to Petco and bought her the necessities. A week or two before I was able to take her home, my cousin, my sister and I went to visit her. She was soooo cute and small. She liked me the first time I held her because she kept on licking my hands. Only thing was she had dingle berries but she was still adorable.
Finally, I got to take her home. I bathed her in the bathroom sink, dried and brushed her. That night, she pooped under my bed and I was afraid to punish her so I had my brother give her a little nub on her bum. Apparently, it was a bit too much and I slapped my brother =). When it was time for bed, I put her bed on my bed and placed her in it so she could sleep. She ended up falling asleep after a while. I woke up in the middle of the night to check her and I didn't see her in her bed. I panicked a little but I finally noticed she was stretched out beside me on top of my blanket. =) MY ROXY!

The White House

Meet the Maltese Family of the Robosa house on Salizar Street! From left to right, we have Little Foot (the tiny one and 2nd oldest of the bunch), Roxy (the mama), Deebo (the biggest and youngest), Buddha (the daddy), and J-Mittens (the oldest and curliest). My sister Amber took this picture. Amazing how she got them all to look at the camera and stay like they did! I love it!

HAPPY 2ND BIRTHDAY ROXY & BUDDHA!

Here are just a few photos of Roxy & Buddha's 2nd birthday party in a collage. Yes! They had a "Happy Birthday" banner, along with party hats and a table mat and puppy plates with a golden retriever on it! =) They had chicken, veggies, rice and mashed potaotes and they absolutely loved it! Jazz is the little chubby min pin and BOW-WOW is the big fat dobe. Simba is the beautiful smokey feline. ENJOY!
